Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde eine originale Militär-Metallflasche an Soldaten der schwedischen Armee für den Einsatz im Feld ausgegeben. Diese Flaschen waren normalerweise aus Metall und wurden mit einem Wollbeutel geliefert, um sie vor Beschädigungen zu schützen. Die Flasche hatte einen Metalldeckel, der abgeschraubt werden konnte, um sie mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten zu füllen, und dann wieder aufgeschraubt werden konnte, um den Inhalt sicher aufzubewahren. Der Wollbeutel bot zusätzliche Isolierung und Schutz sowie eine praktische Möglichkeit, die Flasche zu tragen, wenn sie nicht verwendet wurde. Insgesamt war die originale Militär-Metallflasche während des Krieges ein praktischer und unverzichtbarer Gegenstand für schwedische Soldaten im Feld.
